My research interests are in various aspects of decision-making under uncertainty and their applications in large-scale data-driven settings. My approach to tackling these problems is founded in mathematical optimization, particularly stochastic programming. In my research, I regularly use tools from simulation and statistics. My research goal is to tackle different forms of stochastic optimization problems by designing solution methods that provide verifiable guarantees of solution quality and are computationally scalable. I also strongly emphasize developing effective software implementation of stochastic optimization algorithms. Interested readers can access source codes for the algorithms I helped develop from my Github profile page. I have successfully used my research to address problems in the planning and operations of power and health care systems. My research works are also available on Google Scholar and ResearchGate
